Gideon Latsky
After entering the world in Vredendal, my parents took off to Prieska in the Northern Cape where our family originated from and where some still reside to this day. It was a short, but sweet move and the Karoo will always have a special place in my heart.
Kicking and screaming my parents dragged us back south to Citrusdal, where I matriculated before attempting to take over the world.
I started studying law in Stellenbosh, a vague memory, before traveling overseas to gain some life experience.
Returning to SA, still very much bitten by the travel bug, I moved between Stellenbosch and Citrusdal, before settling in Piketberg at a law firm to do my articles. Once admitted, I briefly worked in Grabouw before I started my own firm in Citrusdal.
After a few years I returned to Piketberg, where I got married and reside today. We have a daughter, Lea and a very good boy called Miso.
My interest in design and architecture, together with my qualification led me to the property industry. I am still a practicing (job which cannot be named in-front of Oom Jannie) doing transfers, rentals and contracts, but I enjoy getting out of the office to see new places and properties.
I joined Agrisell in 2017 because of their "mens-mense" approach, perfectly embodied by Oom Jannie and their innovation and technology brought by the dynamic Jan- Hendrik.
I work where and whenever the opportunities arise and hope to end up permanently on the West Coast.
We enjoy art, good food (cooking cuisine from all over the world), drinking fine wine and listening to music, anything from Abba to Zeppelin, depending on the mood.
