Mariza Engelbrecht
The name is Engelbrecht. Mariza Engelbrecht. Special Agent 004 with a license to sell houses.
Mariza was born on a cold morning in June in the rural town of Bethlehem in the Free State. Mariza has always been an adventure seeker so she spread her wings to Potchefstroom and ran a guesthouse with her husband, Leon. The guesthouse was doing well so she openend a real estate company, specializing in student accommodation. The need to move back to a small town and let the three daughters experience "small town living" was always a dream.
After 8 years in Potchefstroom, an opportunity came up that the Engelbrecht family could move to a small town in the Western Cape called Greyton, they grabbed it with both hands and started their new adventure. They run the craft beer brewery in Greyton which has a restaurant on site as well as 8 rooms in the guesthouse.
After three years of working in the hospitality industry, the pull towards real estate became too strong. The professionalism of Agrisell stands out above all the other agencies in Greyton so there was really no question as who to approach. The fact that you now have two agents at one agency with the same name is also something that gets people's attention.
Mariza is a very creative person and enjoys doing pottery in her free time. She also knows the location of every charity shop in the Overberg and fondly describes herself as a "gatherer" -- much to the frustration of her three daughters.
To play an active role in the community is very important and she is involved with the local school and supports the small town of Greyton in all its many festivals and fairs.
She describes the process of selling houses as one big puzzle that she can't wait to solve.
Mariza is grateful to be part of the Agrisell family and looks forward to the future.
