General

Arguably one of the more scenic properties in the Ladismith area. Situated just off the R62, 2,2km on good gravel road and 22km from Ladismith town, 50km from Barrydale, 72 Km from Riverdale. • Pods / units in the Spekboom escarpment overlooking the Swartberg mountains and Towerkop. This can be expanded into a small lodge.
• Road system needs to be connected at the far back end from valley to escapement to complete a full loop for walking or mountain biking. This can be linked into a bigger system in the area for those that need longer routes.
• There are great numbers of Kudu migrating through the farm.
• Easy to get a 3,000-laying hen business in operation, with infrastructure in place, a brand name and a guaranteed customer base, which should net after costs approx. R120,000 pm.
• There is an ostrich breeding pair who have had eggs hatch. Approx 8 ostrich on the farm and opportunity to expand.
• Sheep farming can also be extended up to the carrying capacity of the farm.
