BETANIe also BETHANIEN: Irreplaceable landscape

This 9,870-hectare farming enterprise is situated in die IIKaras region of Southern Namibia between Goageb and Walvis Bay, approximately 100 km from Keetmanshoop and 192 kilometres from Luderitz.

The enterprise consists of two adjacent farms that are both registered in a dormant company. In buying the company`s shares no transfer duty will apply. A registered waiver to sell is also in place. Currently the farming enterprise is operated in a Close Corporation.

The entire perimeter fencing is about 65 kilometres and about 200 kilometres of roads lead to beautiful valleys and various viewpoints. A section of the perimeter is not fenced, and a drop-off forms the boundary.

The larger 9,528 hectare:

The larger farm can operate as a game, cattle, and sheep farm, if farming is your passion.

Cattle, like the hardy, indigenous Nguni with beautiful, coloured hides that can be exported, as well as the Bonsmara, prosper in this area. The perimeter is fenced with jackal-proof. The property is divided into 25 stock-proof fenced inner camps with enough drinking water sources for livestock and game.

Situated in one of the kloofs are 2 farmhouses with fruit trees, cooler room, 48kWh solar system and 3 boreholes equipped with solar pumps. The solar system supplies power to the farmstead, the second home, labourer cottage, workshop, shed and storeroom, and to the cattle handling facilities.

In the rainy season this farm has beautiful natural dams with plenty of water and waterfalls and there is potential to build a large dam in the catchment area. Various man-made earth dams also allow for catchment of water. The farm enjoys both summer and winter rainfall. The topography is vast plains, valleys, hills, with viewing points and 4x4 roads leading into various beautiful remote kloofs. Various geographical maps with 24 GPS co-ordinates indicating water breaks, for drilling more boreholes, are available and are included in the sale.

The smaller 342-hectare:

The smaller of the two farms enjoys the most beautiful, extraordinary views over the Namib Desert. This property is quite exclusive, as none other such as this is available on the market. It also boasts breath-taking views along a front border of approximately 7 kilometres. The farm is set about 1720 metres above sea level and a sheer drop-off leads to 1,190m above sea level in the vast distance below. It is an unbelievably spectacular sight!

This property lends itself to a very exclusive lodge/private home with the exquisitely beautiful views across more than 180 degrees of the Namib below, as well as inland views over grasslands, natural vegetation, and mountains.

The world's oldest desert has towering dunes, deep-orange plains, contrasted by hills, bright-white mineral pans and red, rocky outcrops.

Flying or paragliding over this landscape offers an otherworldly experience. Thermals and/or dynamic lifts from a sheer drop allow for sensational gliding over this vast terrain for an absolutely unforgettable experience.

A landing strip for small aircraft and/or a heli-pad can make this property a very private destination

The plains and the dunes of the Inner Namib below support large numbers of several varieties of antelope, particularly gemsbok (oryx) and springbuck, as well as ostriches and some leopard, cheetah, hyenas, caracals, and jackals. Even wild horses roam those vast areas. Some of these antelope and predators migrate along a path from the plains below to this farm on the plateau and are easily viewed, especially, during the drier times of the year.

Summary:

Namibia, with its swirling desert sands, pink-granite mountains and famous desert dunes boasts some of the best scenery in the world. Apart from its wonderful array of wildlife, Namibia's iconic landscapes are also a magnet for visitors and investors.

Hunt for your own free-range venison and enjoy mutton and beef, free from antibiotics and growth hormones, in this natural habitat.

Shares for sale at N$ 10,000,000.00 to own this irreplaceable landscape.
